Dead Arm are back with a new 7" and they've calmed down a bit. 'It's Not As If/Living In A Bell', sees a less noisey, more minimalist approach, bolstering singer and band leader Lerryn's signature raw vocal, as she explores the complex emotional subject of pregnancy.

"Pregnancy was replacing cigarettes with a daily bubble bath that smelt of old spice, boiled eggs, becoming anti things that made me scared, keeping half a lemon in a freezer bag in my pocket so that I could smell it to avoid ralfing on my commute, arguing about stability, hatred of the stench of a supermarket, gaining an earth shuddering amount of perspective, and the knowledge ( not the belief) that women are the strongest ones" - Lerryn
